Mathematics is often regarded as a difficult subject where some students easily excel whilst some struggle to understand even the basic concepts. But mathematics needn’t be difficult if the basic foundations are laid right at an early stage.
At Smart Alex Coaching, our focus is to create that strong foundation in mathematics so that each student is able to adapt comfortably as the subject gets more complex.
We understand that some children just need that extra personal attention. Hence we offer a choice of 1 on 1 lesson or small groups. This allows us to tailor individualised program for each child based on their strengths and weaknesses.
Our program not only teaches the "mechanics" of maths but we place a strong emphasis on developing problem solving skills through logic, creativity and critical thinking.
Most importantly, at Smart Alex Coaching, we want children to enjoy mathematics and to discover its beauty and practicality. We want children to achieve and experience success. We truly believe that through confidence and success, we create the passion for lifelong learning.

We create maths VDOs covering a range of topics from primary to high school maths.
These VDOs cover both theories as well as worked examples to help anyone wanting to learn maths.
